Cyber Chess Academy has the pleasure to announce "The ZugMongers Weekend!" Chess Tournaments. These events will be conducted on First Saturday and Sunday of every month at the Cyber Chess Academy Premises. The tournament will be conducted from 3rd and 4th December at Cyber Chess Academy Premises. This event will be held in association with Ranga Reddy District Chess Association and under the Aegis of AP Chess Association.

1. The tournament is open for Boys and Girls aged between 05 and 16 years only .
2. All entries should reach the Cyber Chess Academy by 1.PM on 3rd December 2011 . There will be a maximum of 7 rounds in this tournament.
3.Top three players in each group will be awarded Prizes/Trophies strictly as per the Age and their age group. No upgrades/downgrades will be made even if there is no claim for higher/lower prize. Certificates will be issued to all participants. No Cash prizes will be given in this tournament. Any player who creates a Zugzwang will be given a Special prize.
4. Entry Fee for the tournament is Rs.200/- for Cyber Chess Academy members and Rs.250/- for Non Members
5. Each participant must produce a valid certificate to prove his/her age. Players without date of birth certificate will not be allowed to participate in the tournament.
6. This event will be played under World Chess Federation ( FIDE) Rules and the swiss System.
7. SESSION OF PLAY & TIME CONTROL: Time control of 50 minutes each + 30 Seconds increment per move with digital clocks and 60 mins for analog clocks.
8. TIE BREAK: Latest tie breaking rules will be applied.
9. PROTESTS: Protests, if any, against the decisions of the Chief Arbiter shall be made in writing at least within 15 minutes of the of the incident with a protest fee of Rs. 500/- which shall be refunded if appeal is upheld. The decision of the Tournament Director/Chief Arbiter/ appeals committee shall be FINAL and BINDING on all the participants.
10. Academy has the right to reject any Entry without giving any reason there of
