Lanka Ravi,  is the first International Chess Master of Andhra Pradesh State. He is the founder of Cyber Chess Academy.  He has represented India in more than 60 International Tournaments and brought many laurels to the state of Andhra Pradesh from 1980 to till date in various capacities as a player, as a coach and as an organiser.

Silver Medal in Asian Zonals, Doha Qatar  Coached many youngsters of the country including Pendyala Harikrishna, Lakshmi Sahithi, Yalamanchili Sandeep and Raja Ritvik who all achieved Asian and World level success. FIDE Senior Trainer who can train the trainers on behalf of the World Chess Federation  Organized International Grand Master Open Chess Tournaments in Hyderabad City in the years 2006 and 2013 in which players from 15 countries participated
Gold Medal in Asian Rapid Chess, Doha Qatar 2  Coach of the Indian Team in World Women’s Team Chess Championship, China FIDE Senior Trainer ( World Chess Federation) & FIDE lecturer from India,  Coach of the Indian Team in World Junior Chess Championship, Poland 
Gold Medal in Asian Team Chess Championship  Coach of the Indian Team in World Junior Chess Championship, Poland Trained many players through World Chess Federation Seminar and certified them as Trainers Organised National Rapid and National Blitz Chess Championships at Hyderabad
Represented in Chess Olympiads at Dubai and Manila Coach of the Indian Senior Men and Women Teams in the Asian Zonal Chess Championship Manial, Philippines   Organised several Indian Camps for Junior Boys and girls
